Great experience! Ken was easy to work with and easily accommodated our special setup request. He had all the songs on the request playlist and was able to accommodate most of the on-the-spot requests. Feedback from the kids was great. Would definitely hire Ken again and recommend Ken his services to others.

Ken arrived promptly to setup and noticed he had pretty state of the art equipment complete with laser lighting, TV monitor for videos, fog machine, etc. All the songs I have requested he ended up playing. He even had an extra microphone for guests for making announcements or they could do Karaoke. The lighting to the music and the atmosphere was amazing. He did a really great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone. If we have our party next year (or actually any event), I would be sure and call Ken. He had a really great attitude and he was always smiling. Thanks Ken!

Ken did a great job keeping the kids entertained. Great choice of music, volume was appropriate. He showed up on time, was setup quickly and was very professional. I can recommend him without reservation.

Ken did a great job in every way at our son's graduation party. He played all the songs we requested in advance. The lights he provided were awesome & he didn't charge extra for the lights. I would highly recommend Ken for any occasion.

I was very pleased. My DJ was prompt, friendly, played great music (appropriate for the age of my daughter), and the kids loved him. He kept the party going, and I would definitely recommend him. If I have a need for a DJ in the future, he will be the one I call.

Ken Jones with Y4K was amazing and I would definitely use and recommend his services! He was knowledgeable and very personable. He made every effort to accommodate my guests and temperamental teenagers. The response I have received has all been extremely positive from the party goers and my son was extremely pleased with Ken's performance. He even through out some perks I wasn't expecting and made it a wonderful event!

In email and phone communications Ken was very professional and quick to respond which was great. However, he was late to the wedding, didn't get set up in time, equipment was not properly working so it delayed the start of the wedding. I also gave him a specific playlist which he didn't even have all the songs for and did not play what I asked and there were long pauses between the songs. He did not speak clear enough when announcing anything so we had no idea what was going on, and did not do well with running the reception, our photographer had to tell him when and what to do. He was very nice though, and inexpensive so that was good.

Krystal Howard's wedding was a blast! I was there and hour and 15 minutes early; however, I had a severe malfunction of my equptment and I had to start playing late which I am very sorry for! It was highly unusual with the cirumstances I faced that night and I am very happy I got to perform for them! I played all the songs requested that night and I never received any complaints that evening. Everyone seemed very pleased with the party that night and I am very thankfull the party went as well as it did!

I was very displeased with Ken. His karaoke machine didn't even work with the words. He asked me if I wanted words b/c it wasn't working, and I of course said yes. He said he would have to reboot his system or just HAVE PEOPLE PICK SONGS THEY ALREADY KNOW!!! WTF???? Then, when a friend of ours wanted to sing us a song, the microphone cut out and quit working. He had to scramble to find another mic. That was the only time the karaoke was used (of course with no words). Luckily, she new the song. Overall, I was very disappointed with Ken's performance. The whole reason we hired him was mainly b/c of the karaoke which did not work.

Alicia's wedding was a blast! Even through having to set up in two different locations (because the power was off in first location) and even through playing during a lightning storm outside near a pool I kept the party going! LOL! Alicia thanked me over and over again for such a great performance and even her cousin was amazed! Alicia even wanted me to help her husband get into the Dj business which I offered to do! Alicia promised me a great review. Her party was one of the best parties I can remember and I was very happy to be a part of it!

he wouldn't show for rehearsal said he would arrive early to event to go over everything arrived 20 mins before started messed up all music to ceremony when arrived 20 mins before then told me he didn't have a song that i was playing for ceremony when in all previous emails he said email him a list and if he didn't have it he would get it which didn't happen how do you arrive 20 mins prior and tell a bride to pick a different song he played a total of probably 5 songs that where on the list for him to play the rest he let kids req songs even though he was told several times not to it was a disaster i WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND HIM to ruin anyone else wedding day

Misty's wedding was a blast! I had lots of guests including the bride tell me how great things were! The kids really loved their requests and the special laser light! I played all the special music for the ceremony as well! I wished all of my weddings were as pretty and went as well as this one did! I am very grateful to have been a part of their special day!

1st he was 30 min. late; no call or text to let us know; 2nd he played the wrong mother and son dance song; 3rd quality of music was poor, only had one speaker. Did not take request like he said he would, and recommended music we didn't want played. 4th Didn't have a special request song we wanted for my daughter that we had emailed to him. And the music stopped due to equipment reboot in the middle of the reception for about 30 minutes. Did not engage the crowd as he said he would do.

Wow is all I can say... The party was great - family and friends told me they had a great time... We even had a singer in the mix that performed that night and she did a great job! We all enjoyed it so much I stayed over to play more requests and it was so hard to leave!

Ken was very accomodating. I would recommend providing him with a play list (it is ok with him, but our daughter didn't follow through on getting it to him), this way you can have exactly what you want played. His set-up, sound, and lights were really nice, and the guests enjoyed it all. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others. Also, Gigmasters emails a great checklist to go over with your DJ before the event. This really helps to cover all the details for everyone.
