I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I joined the military at age 17 and the military mindset has remained with me ever since which is why I adopted, “One Shot, One Thrill”, as my tagline and my motto of, “My mission is to bring the party to the people”. It's an experience which will remain with me until I no longer exist. The son of a Peruvian Father & a Cuban mother, give me my latino heritage as well as my bridge to the love of music in all its many forms. My mother, Maria de la Caridad Castillo, a trophy winning Salsa and Merengue dancer from Havana, Cuba, formed and molded my love of music by the ever present voices of the great Queen of Latin music, Celia Cruz. As did the voices & rhythms of Willie Chirino, Tito Puente, El Gran Combo, Hector Lavoe and many other great latin artists and American Artists like The Beatles, Sonny & Cher and many others of the day. My Father, Angel Alejandro Sandoval, also a former military man, immigrated from Lima, Peru to the United States as my mother did in the 60's. My father also had a great influence on me for my love of American music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sting, Eric Clapton, Genesis, Phil Collins, ZZ Top and many others. On my own journey in life, I've discovered so many more facets to music I never dreamed I would come to embrace. From the likes of Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Toby Keith, and Shania Twain to Rock Greats like AC/DC, Def Leppard, Metallica. To all my favorites growing up such as LL Cool J, Michael Jackson, Africa Bambaataa, Snoop Dogg, N.W.A., Ice T, Ice Cube, U.T.F.O., Beastie Boyz, Cypress Hill to today's rising stars like, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and so many others. Born and raised in Tampa Bay, I know the area well and can perform at your next event anywhere in the tri-county area. I tailor my performance to your exacting standards.
