This system is designed to provide you with just the right amount of sound whether your event is in a large hall, small room or even outdoors! Our DJ never takes breaks unless you ask him to and for special events such as wedding receptions our DJ will help you organize and outline the reception so he can customize his play list for you and emcee the reception if you wish. Our system works well along with a band playing on their breaks keeping the energy level up and often supplying additional styles your band may not be able to provide. We are dedicated to bringing you the best quality sound, the biggest variety of music , the finest lighting and the utmost professional services at competitive prices. 

DANCE TRAXX'S DJ is an experienced professional who enjoys what he does and is always ready to help make your event a success. Your DJ will gladly act as emcee and dress appropriately. Generally our DJs are very lively and interactive with the audience however you can let him know if you prefer for him to just play music. Your DJ maintains a comfortable volume level with enough energy for dancing yet allowing people to converse. You have complete control of the volume and can tell your DJ at any time to make adjustments.

MUSIC VIDEO DJ is also available for an additional cost which can be negotiated with your DJ. This comes complete with a 100" rear projection screen, a high quality HD projector, thousands of DVD quality music videos of popular music from all styles, old & new and a camera that periodically displays views of the room and dance floor if so desired. When used with Karaoke it can display the words scrolling across the screen for the singer. Music Videos add a great dimension of sight and sound to your entire party and offers even more opportunities for audience involvement. 

KARAOKE is also available for an additional cost which can be negotiated with your DJ. This comes complete with 2 microphones, a TV with words scrolling across the screen for the singer, a play list from which to choose songs and a sign up list for dedications. Karaoke is a great addition to your event, offering more opportunities for audience involvement (Some folks that can't dance, love to sing!). Karaoke can be used along with the DJ as much or little as you desire (i.e. 10 minutes every half hour, 15 minutes per hour, etc.). 

DANCE TRAXX'S LIGHTS AND SPECIAL EFFECTS add tremendous color and flare to the show if you desire. The system is complete with flashing multi-colored lights, a revolving "Mystic" light which sends beams of color around the room, a "Sparkle" light which revolves slowly spreading small beams of turquoise light onto the dance floor for slow songs, a fog machine, a bubble machine, a black light, a strobe light and many others. All lights can be focused around the DJ, the dance floor or fill the room if desired. 

DANCE TRAXX'S EXTENSIVE MUSIC LIBRARY is virtually unlimited, more than many radio stations, covering every popular dance song from the big band sounds of the 20's to the hottest dance hits of today. It would take over 250 pages to print the entire list so it is rare that someone makes a request the DJ doesn't have with him.  Your DJ will play as many requests as possible (keep in mind at 50 songs cover a 4 hour event) and if you have any sentimental favorites or special requests to fit the occasion let your DJ know in advance and he'll be sure to bring it from his library which is much too large to carry on every engagement.  If he doesn't have your request he'll do his best to get it for you or your DJ will gladly play any CD which you would like to bring and have played during the performance. A questionnaire will be provided with your contract allowing you to tell the DJ about the type of dance, type of music preferred, age group(s), theme or special requests you would like played or particular styles or songs you don't want played.

Our DJ Scott was GREAT! He really helped made our wedding reception the perfect evening. I felt like we rather asked a lot of him, with special requests, moving the schedule around a little, and staying a little later than planned, but he was very easy going and really got people out dancing. Thanks so much!

He needs to work on how he announces things - his choice of words were not very formal. He just needs practice on being a DJ at a wedding reception. Work on music portfolio - choices were dull. Requests for particular songs were not met. Songs were getting cut off before they were finished and the segues between songs were awkward. No up-to-date songs were played.

Our DJ Scott arrived late, after the event had begun.  He did not have the 3 requested songs for the wedding ceremony.  He did not play the requested type of music for dinner.  The karaoke component did not work after 2 songs.  The PA system did not work so guests could not give toasts.  The DJ also overcharged us.   Emails to my contact at Mid-East Entertainment and then to the owner/manager of Mid-East Entertainment were never acknowledged.
