WeddingReviewed on June 26, 2017From Taylorsville, KY

He made a beautiful day absolutely horrible ..he messed up the song that the bride and groom was dancing to ..it was two songs together ...then the song in memory to her grandfather was all messed up ...we spent a week putting a list together and he played nothing on our list ..people got up and left..i would not let him ever do any wedding..

:

We arrived. the boys were in Tuxedo's, they all had mohawk haircuts. Unusual people. We played over 30 songs that they had pre selected. I have the list. People usually leave after 4 hours. At 9.30 after, 5 hours, people leave. She had us play till 10.30. That's a long reception. All they had to do was ask for songs. She never came up to me to express her concerns. Ask and you shall receive. Monday morning quarterback. When she booked me she had complaints about the DJ at her cousin's wedding she attended. She's a complainer type. Never satisfied. What are her complaints about the food? Plain Chicken wings, not breaded. Not good. Ham sandwiches, 1 slice, lot of brea

Corporate FunctionReviewed on September 25, 2015From Lexington, KY

Very nice, charismatic, and entertaining DJ. He DJ'ed and had karaoke available for a corporate retreat in downtown Lexington. He was super easy to work with. Would recommend him again!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on June 4, 2013From Jeffersonville, IN

It just seemed he has his own play list that he does not vary from and did not honor special requests from party guests even though he acknowledged them. If he didn't have them available, he should have been honest and said so.

:

In a house party like that it's all request. I don't think I had any until after we put the Crown on his head and sang Happy Birthday, about 8.40 pm. I was booked till 9 pm. A few guys came up to sing Karaoke and my time was through. I stayed until after 10 pm, with out more pay, because everyone was having a good time. I don't know what this guy is talking about. I have books, they show me the number, I put it on. When I do Karaoke in bars, they write the songs on a request slip. Sometimes 2 people come at the same time and ask for a song. It's loud up there at the table. If they don't write it down I may not have heard them while speaking with someone else.

WeddingReviewed on May 26, 2013From Hazard, KY

I was extremely disappointed with almost everything about our DJ. The only thing that I was satisfied with is that he was on time. First, when the bride and groom were introduced, the person introducing them called the groom "Andrew" and his name is Matt (and I had just been over to the DJ table and told him the names). Also, when he arrived, he didn't even have a table. I had to scramble and find something for him to put his stuff on. I did just book the DJ about a week in advance but when my daughter sent him the playlist of 47 songs she wanted, he only had 11 of them and stated that just because it is well-known to her doesn't mean it is well-known to others.

:

The brides maids all wore cowboy boots. 47 songs sent 2 days before the event! She used her Iphone and played all her own music. Was she satified? She did not enter until about 20 minutes before the end. We set up in an old rusty hanger at the Hazard Airport. No power, we ran on a generator. Port a potty toilet. The name I had written down was Andrew. It is rare for a bride to have 10 songs to request. Her first question was can she play her own music? Yes. I did not even recognize some of the artists. Never heard of them! This girl is 20 something from Hazard KY. What is the radio station there? How naive to think everyone knows the same songs you do.
