New Magnolia Jazz Band Dixieland Band from Arlington, MA

The New Magnolia Jazz Band will enliven any party or event. It is a fun group with high energy. We play a lot on a gig because we love it. And you will too. The New Magnolia Jazz Band of Mass specializes in 20's through 40's era traditional jazz and swing. Formed over 15 years ago, the band favors a traditional New Orleans jazz sound featuring 4-10 musicians including trumpets, reeds, low brass and percussion. The music is mostly traditional Dixieland, foot stomping music, that you and you friends will like, featuring Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, and Pete Fountain styles. Ideally 6 performers work. Sometimes 4 or as many as ten do the trick. We often perform at parties, bandstands, pubs, or parades. You won't be disappointed. Bring Bourbon Street to you.
