Drakon is the Director, Choreographer and Principal Dancer of Desert Passion Middle Eastern Dance Company in Austin, Texas, and is currently Austin's best known male dancer who turns bellydance into an expressive art of both power and gentleness - a gifted,innovative and incredibly versatile Middle Eastern dance artist with a love for this dance form deeply embedded in his soul. His diverse performances of classical Egyptian “Raks Sharki” along with folkloric dances, particularly Nubian, Gawazee and Saide combines with his masterful use of a Scimitar sword to create a unique and powerfully intense personal style.
