Pavlov's Kats Cover Band from Alameda, CA

Pavlov's Kats is a professional cover band specializing in dance music from the 1950s through the 21st century. We are extremely reliable, and will play at whatever volume level our clients prefer. We are not a loud band. We have played weddings, banquets, nightclubs and private parties. Our price is negotiable but in general we are less expensive than other professional bands. At the same time, we are reliable -- we have never missed a scheduled gig. We arrive on time, we set up promptly, we have all our own equipment, and we break down promptly when your event is over. We do not imbibe to excess when playing. Our band has a female vocalist (Amy), a lead/rhythm guitar (Paul), a Bass (Danny) and drums (Howard). We typically also have a guest artist who plays lead guitar (either Gomer Hendrix or Cisco Ochoa), for a total of five musicians. We sing in three-part harmony in many songs. Our music includes rock, blues, swing and a few latin tunes. All our music is cover music -- no originals. People will recognize the vast majority of what we play. We cover songs by The Beatles, The Kinks, The Pretenders, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tracy Chapman, Maroon 5, Wilson Pickett, ZZ Top, The Doobie Brothers, Santana, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Talking Heads, Aerosmith, Chris Isaak, and Billy Joel.
