My wife and I booked the 72s for our wedding in August 2016 and we were amazed beyond belief all night, by how great they were. This band kept the party going all night and everyone at the wedding was on the dance floor from the first song to the last. Throughout the entire evening, we kept getting the same question from all our guests: "WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS BAND??" We could not believe how many people complimented their performance. The 72s combination of musical talent, energy, perfect song selection and crowd involvement is unmatchable. We could not believe how well the band interacted with the crowd. The lead singer, Brian, spent several songs on the dance floor, amongst the crowd, sharing his microphone and getting people involved in their show. Combine all of this with how easy they were to work with, the outstanding communication leading up to the event, the extra time and effort they put in to setup the ceremony and play a live processional and recessional...and we couldn't have been more pleased with this whole process. Finding a wedding band that is composed of honestly talented musicians is no small task - not to mention that these people are great people to the core. They took all of our requests and suggestions to heart, and hit them out of the park. We've all been to the wedding (or weddings) with the awkward DJ where no one is dancing. That is exactly the OPPOSITE of what you will get with the 72's. The perfect combination of fun, class and talent. I would recommend to anyone. They definitely keep the party going and the lead singer spends about as much time on the dance floor as he does playing his organ. He was really sweaty! Incredible live band for our reception By Melissa S. on April 21, 2014 Our wedding reception will be one that people will talk and reminisce about because the 72's band was so incredible! My husband and I were blown away with their talent that night! One of our values was that the songs were family-friendly and nothing that would make our guests uncomfortable. They sent me a set of songs that they had previously played for wedding receptions and then I was able to pick and choose which songs we wanted. I also sent them a few songs that I wanted to add to the list and they were more than willing to learn them for our first dance, father daughter dance, and parent dance. Bryan even came out on the dance floor at one point and sang while engaging the crowd on the dance floor! Everyone there knew the songs and we had older couples and young children dancing together. You can tell that the 72's enjoy jamming together and enjoying being there to celebrate with you. I give them the highest rating for a reason- They are INCREDIBLE! You should really consider them for your special event!
