A professional dance band based out of the Raleigh NC area, The Central Park Band brings live popular music, a quality sound system, special lighting and is fully insured. Our variety of music includes Jazz, R & B, Beach, Funk, Originals, Rock, Disco, Blues and Dance.
Cindy Ferguson - Lead Vocals, Keyboards Cindy graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in vocal performance. After college she worked as a professional singer in the Chicago area for several years before moving to Florida to work at Disney World as Belle in the Beauty and the Beast show along with other shows in the various parks. She also had the opportunity to live in Japan for a year to work at Tokyo Disneyland, and then literally traveled around the world as Lead Vocalist with Jean Ann Ryan Productions on the Royal Cruise Line. After moving to Raleigh in 1996, she immediately joined the Central Park Band and was a member until 2008 when she took a brief hiatus to spend more time with her husband Kevin and daughter Caitlin. After realizing how much she missed singing, she joined CPB again in 2012 and is excited to be back!
George Coghill - Drums, Lead Vocals George was born in Winston-Salem, NC, later moved to Cary, NC and graduated from Cary High School in 1977. He marched with the highly regarded Cary High School Band percussion section. He graduated with a Business Degree from Campbell University in 1984. George currently lives in Raleigh, NC and has been playing drums professionally and keeping the beat since the age of 15. Famous sayings "Gotta Love It!"
Jeremy Moss - Keyboards, Lead Vocals, Guitar Jeremy started playing at the age of 17 with The Continental Cowboys. He later joined The Brickhouse Band and was introduced to funk music, where he fell in love with the sound of a horn section. It became a passion to emulate the big horn sound, as well as all the nuances of the Hammond B3 sound, along with classic Rhodes and Clav sounds. Jeremy plays multiple instruments, keyboards/piano, guitar, fiddle, sax, banjo and harmonica. His influences are Stevie Wonder, Jonathan Cain, Herbie Hancock, Bela Flek, Victor Wooten and Doc Watson. Born and raised in Garner, Jeremy is married to Marie. They have 2 boys Kaleb and Ethan.
Marty Gilbert - Bass Guitar, Lead Vocals, Drums
Marty has been a rocker since age 14 and has played in many bands throughout the years. He was the lead vocalist and bass player in the group "Spur of the Moment" from 1991-2002. A 1986 E.C.U. graduate, Marty is a developer/builder, and lives in Clayton, N.C. with his wife Jenny. He is one of the featured lead vocalist while "rocking out" the bass.
Tom Bagley - Guitar, Lead Vocals
T.F. began his musical career playing guitar and singing with the band 'Misunderstood'. After graduation from high school and moving to Greensboro, NC he played with the dance-groove band 'Chocolate Funk' sharing the stage with famed bands 'The Ohio Players', 'Earth, Wind & Fire', 'The Isley Brothers' and 'Confunkshion'. Tom recorded with country music's Gwen Biddix in conjunction with the late Archie Campbell of “Hee-Haw”. In the 70's Tom traveled throughout the southeast with 'Instant Replay'. As a co-founder of the 'Central Park Band' in the early 80's, the group recorded 6 original hits. Tom wrote, recorded and released the originals “You Don't Know” and “Parda'”.
'Central Park Band' continues to perform up and down the East Coast.
Tommy Wall - Sound Technician, Drums
Tommy is a musician and drummer, with professional experience running sound for various bands. His knowledge of music
and his ability of control at the board adds to the sound that is "The Central Park Band."
