Band Member Info: Val Cordova- Lead Vocals, Bass & Cowbell Val has been part of the local Sonoma County music scene since the early 1980's. For decades every Sunday he played either bass guitar or drums. Singing in the choir, he stood out as a powerful lead vocalist. His style is rooted in rock, funk and soul and he loves keeping the music honest, alive and fun! Mark Davis- Bass, Keys, Guitar & Vocals Mark has been in bands since he was 12 years old, playing keys, bass and guitar. Growing up in the East Bay Area and seeing the live bands of the 60's and 70's at The Fillmore West and Winterland gave him a strong sense of reality in his own music; writing songs that seek world peace and of loves lost and won. After graduating from Chico State University he moved to Healdsburg, California where he met his “musical soul-mates “Joe and Rob performing together as The Fury. Joe DeBenedetti- Drums and Vocals Born and raised in Healdsburg, California, Joe started studying and playing drums when he was 10 years old. By 16 he was playing in the local clubs with very popular bands including The Fury. Joey, who is also a singer-songwriter, has the knack of putting people on their feet with his drum chops and fun energy. Rob Freguletti- Lead Guitar & Vocals Since relocating to Sonoma County 25 years ago, Rob has played in many local bands including The Fury where he met Joe and Mark co-writing and performing original music and opening for Bobby Kimbal of Toto and Pat Travers. Rob is also a talented recording engineer and has helped others in recording their debut cd's. Rob is a true wizard on the guitar. Merica Green/Alexander- Lead Vocals & Tambourine Originally from Birmingham Alabama, she started singing at an early age at home and then church. She went on to be part of her brother's seven piece top 40 band and was in the Miles College Marching Band while she earned her degree in social work. Merica also served our Country with 25 years service in the U.S. Navy. Val & Mark discovered her singing Karaoke and she has been a featured part of the band since. David Schrader- Saxophone & Keys When David was 8 years old he was playing Hide-and-Seek with his 5 year old sister and hid in his parent's closet. Inside he found a long narrow case. Opening it, he saw the saxophone his father had played in high school. By 16 David had become a professional saxophone player performing at high school and college dances. David got his degree in music theory and composition and moved to Sonoma County where he has been wowing audiences ever since.
