Close to Home is a high energy cover band that has been playing clubs, private parties, weddings and corporate functions in the New England area since 2002 My name is Mike Carlucci and I am the lead singer for the band. I also work as the entertainment manager for the Mad Raven in Waltham, Ma and the Raven's Nest in Walpole, Ma so I understand how the economy has challenged venues and private functions that wish to feature live music. Close to Home can accommodate any budget by performing as a duo, trio or full band featuring 4-6 players. Our lineup of professional musicians can provide your venue with a wonderful live music experience that will entertain patrons and grow your business. Instrumentation includes: Acoustic Guitar, Saxophone, Congas, Upright Bass, Drums and Keyboards. Variety is what makes CTH so special. There are over 300 selections on the song list which include crowd favorites from the 2000's, 90's, 80's, 70's and 60's. Young and old will appreciate the popular artists from a wide variety of genres including modern rock, r&b, Motown, Top 40, classic rock, alternative, country and pop. Because of our flexibility and professionalism, we are now featured as the house band for the Raven Pubs and the Village Tavern in Salem, Ma. Close to Home also performs regularly at the Porter Belly Pub in Brighton and the Brickyard in Woburn, Ma. In July of 2012, Close to Home hosted the official Post Party for Roger Waters' "The Wall" concert at Fenway Park and also the Dave Mathews Band Post Party at Fenway a few years prior. Our industry standard speaker system can be customized for any sized venue while remaining comfortable for patrons. We also provide a light show and DJ services for set breaks.
