Thin Smoke is an eclectic acoustic "Amerifolk" Trio featuring singer songwriter Linda Fayte on lead vocals and guitar, hand/rhythm percussionist Tom Ditzler and Rodney Eddings on vocals, backing and lead guitar. Together the three play a mix of covers, with unique arrangements ranging from Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Passenger, Adele, Rod Stewart, Donovan, Stevie Nix, Iris Dement, Credence Clearwater Revival, Neil Young, Alllman Brothers, Christine McVie, Carol King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Ryan Adams. Thin Smoke also performs over two hours of original Soft Blues and Amerifolk songs written by Linda. Their acoustic music is the perfect sound for small restaurants, pubs, breweries, coffee houses, street festivals, open air markets, house parties, special events, such as wine tasting, restaurant openings, corporate parties, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations. Linda Fayte performs as singer songwriter and acoustic rhythm guitarist and well known for her original songs with her former band "Underground Sky" back home in the Adirondack Mountains.singing and performing career took hold in the Adirondack Mountains. Tom started his musical journey in Chicago originally playing harmonica in various blues clubs and and added percussion to his repertoire in an acoustic Beatles tribute band which performed on live Chicago TV, The Historic Genesee Theatre and Hollywood Cqsino. Rodney is the newest member of the band. Before Thin Smoke he played bass and electric guitar with a handful of bands in the Northeast performing a mix of progressive and indie rock songs. His solo music ranges from noisy guitar songs to his recent folk record with silly novelty songs and "downer" ballads.
