The True Believers Cover Band from Chicago, IL

A Show band featuring a Horn section and Choir All they want to do is dance.... The True Believers are a high energy dance band. The floor will be filled with dancers, young, old, and in between. There has been a movement in the music business for bands to travel with as few musicians as possible. Sometimes, this is accomplished by selecting material that is appropriate for a small combo. Often times, one or more of the musicians in the band can play more than one instrument, providing the band with a more diverse sound. Some bands actually perform to prerecorded material or use drum machines, vocal harmony simulators, or synthesized horns or strings, played via a keyboard. The True Believers features a core of 5 talented musicians led by JeromeO himself. Than to insure a big sound a 3 piece horn section was added. Now all of that sweet southern Soul music performed by the band sounds that much better. But wait, not yet satisfied with the sound of the lineup, a 3 piece vocal choir was added. Now that, is a big, full sound, that will carry you away. As for appearance, many groups look to be dressed more for a backyard barbecue than a musical performance. It seems as though the days of showing your audience and venue some respect by dressing up, are past. The True Believers take you back to the days of the big R&B ad Rock and Roll groups of the past. THe members are all dressed to the nines. And the Ladies, led by Nora Wolff, all are taking a line from and original song by the group and wearing the "Little Black Dress".
