FlatLandCrew Cover Band from Haysville, KS

From the Urban Plains of Wichita and lake of Toronto Ks comes" FlatLand Crew". A 4 piece group specializing Country and Classic Rock band covering Brooks and Dunn to Bad Company with over 5 hrs of material to choose from currently to please any audience. The group collectively has over 150 years experience playing live music and entertaining crowds from 5-5000 collectively opening for artists: Little Texas, Clint Black, John Micheal Montgomery, Mickey Gillie, Steve Wariner, Bellamy Brothers ,Keith Urban and the late great Chris LeDoux. As a band have only been together going on 2nd year after a chance meeting with three of members helping out a friend doing a 50th birthday party which only 2 rehearsals and played the show that was supposed to be 2 hrs but the crowd and band had such a good time together became 5 hrs and 2 encores. At that moment the band was formed. but because at the time members had prior commitments with 3 other bands and added one more member to fill out the sound, didn't start putting the group together til late October 2016. The band members are: Don "Hummer" Humbird lead vocals and lead guitar a very talented vocalist doing both Country and Rock and the rendition of a Vince Gill classic "Go Rest High On That Mountain will bring chills. Keith Lavalley lead vocal and Bass Guitar is our Country Crooner singing songs from country's yesteryear like George Strait , Keith Whitley and Hank Williams Jr. As with most bands in changing members ours is no exception. So In 2018, We say good bye to Ron “Road Strut” Hill guitarist due to musical differences only and he will continue to be behind the scenes handling our web site “flatlandcrew.band “ and wish him well in his musical endeavors. So with that I am proud to introduce formally are newest member to group Mark Schulte from rural western Kansas, a keyboardist, guitarist, banjo and vocalist. Mark Brings experience, talent, and fuller sound and wider range of material the group can do as we move forward. And last but not least, Dan "Stixx" Reid on drums and vocals engaging the listener from first down beat to last song and the keeping dance floor hoppin and gives FlatLandCrew even though a classic format a fresh forward sound.
