Father Tyme Cover Band from Charlotte, NC

Father Tyme is a versatile rock trio based out of Charlotte, NC. The band performs a variety of music, including rock/alternative music of the 90's and classic rock. The band has been performing around North and South Carolina since 1998. Lead Guitarist/Vocalist, Reid Reynolds, along with veteran Drummer/Vocalist Jason Beachum have remained a steady part of the band since its formation. "We decided to take a much needed change of direction that focused our attention towards playing music we enjoyed, rather than playing music we felt we had to play," said Reynolds. For drummer Jason, "...it's really about playing music that moves you, and moves the crowd, with you." Jason was introduced to drumming in elementary school. He has performed throughout the years in jazz and marching bands, as well as working as a part time studio drummer. His in-the-pocket style of drumming is reflective of John Bonham, while at the same time his fills are sharp and crisp in the genre of Mitch Mitchell. Reynolds grew up drumming in local bars with his father's band, The Deluxe Brothers, before venturing into playing guitar. While drumming may be his first love, playing guitar is never too far behind. The band regrouped in 2008 adding Bassist Kenneth Griswold to their lineup. Kenneth has played with several bands, most noteably the all original groove-core band Bread Box, in which he was the lead guitarist and vocalist. Father Tyme typically plays (3-4) 45 minute to 1 hour sets of music. Prices are negotiable. :)
