Dance Manifesto is a four-piece band comprised of DC music scene veterans whom have truly taken their craft to the next level. At a Dance Manifesto show you will experience something that you may not have experienced recently - complete unity on the dancefloor and total exhilaration from dancing all night.

In a music scene dominated by DJs and rock & roll cover bands, Dance Manifesto defies comparison. A DJ cannot compete with a live band for crowd interaction, and no other band in DC can perform the repertoire that Dance Manifesto does - in fact, they don't even try.

Dance Manifesto's sonic mastery and integrity are the band's most compelling attributes. First-time audience members are often stunned at the quality and energy of the performance. Dance Manifesto truly moves their audience with studio-perfect keyboards, tight rhythms and incredible vocals. Though the band has only recently celebrated its second anniversary, Dance Manifesto has already played to tens of thousands and shared the stage with such local favorites like Burnt Sienna as well as smash international artists as Emeli Sandé, Icona Pop and Cher Lloyd.

They pay tribute to the 80's and 90's too with classic tunes by artists like Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Depeche Mode.
