Brightenstar is a female/male live music duo that sounds like a full band, playing rock, pop and a bit of country.
Veterans of live performance for more than twenty years, Brightenstar's memorable performances reflect their vast experiences with audiences of all types. Our Song List, featuring covers of rock, pop and bit of country, features something for almost everyone. We perform songs by the Beatles, Coldplay, Tom Petty, Jason Mraz, Fleetwood Mac, the Cranberries, Eagles, Megan Trainor, Prince, the Police, REM, Weezer, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Elton John, ELO, Guns n' Roses, recent hits like Shut Up & Dance, Africa, Feel It Still and more.
Brightenstar uses the state-of-the-art Bose L1 sound system (for most events.) The system delivers crystal-clear sound that fills the room without overpowering your guests that want to talk and mingle.
Jenna sings, plays keyboard, guitar, and ukulele. Neil sings as well, plays guitar, ukulele, and bass, and commands an array of devices that expand Brightenstar to well beyond the sound of typical duos. And it's all done with nothing prerecorded, save for a drum machine accompaniment.
Audiences dance, sing, move, talk...Brightenstar entertains folks who participate in whatever way they want. Now you can have the sound of a band, at ANY volume.
