Baldie is a rock cover band that creates custom sets that pay homage to a particular theme or band, with a focus on late 60's through 70's rock, punk, and glam. Baldie got it's start in 2016 when it staged its first show during New York fashion week playing a tribute to the iconic Blondie (hence the name, plus the singer James is bald) Following shows featured themes including Baldie Rocks The Clash, Bowie/Lou/Iggy, and Music From Andy Warhol's Factory. Baldie members are all seasoned rockers who have had successful musical careers; they have been joined onstage by special guests including Marky Ramone on drums (Ramones), Arno Hecht on sax (Rolling Stones), and Andy Hilfiger on guitar. Baldie would be happy to work with you to create a special set of music for your event, and guarantee a fun, rockin time. baldienyc
