Francis Buckingham  Country Singer from Aurora, CO

I perform traditional country western/bluegrass/folk/gospel in the tradition of the Grammy-winning cd "Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?". I sing and play autoharp & acoustic guitar. I picked up my unique autoharp stylings from Bryan Bowers back in Washington, D.C. in the early 70's. Since moving to Colorado in 2004, I have specialized in performing for older Americans in retirement communities, along with occasional gigs at area Borders Books and The Cafe at Swallow Hill. I'm a frequent guest at over 70 area retirement facilities. I have 2 cds, one for the "elders of the tribe" featuring their favorite sing-a-longs, and a live album recorded at the coffee house I owned & operated in Bowie MD fm 2000-2003. Rather than rely on backround music, or band-in-a-box, I prefer to deliver these great Americana masterpieces with voice, acoustic instruments and a single microphone.
