Brian Callihan Country Band from Nashville, TN

Brian grew up on a small farm in rural, southern Georgia. He was actively involved in playing baseball and football throughout his childhood. Brian managed to make extra cash on the weekends by catching overpopulated wild hogs from farmers in the surrounding area where Brian grew up. When Brian turned eleven years old, he got country legend Keith Whitley's 'Greatest Hits' Album and he couldn't stop listening to it. Brian realized then, that he wanted to be a country music artist. From there, Brian taught himself how to play the guitar and started writing songs by the time he was twelve. By the age of fifteen, Brian was playing two-hour sets at local bars singing everything from George Jones to The Marshall Tucker Band, and even some Otis Redding. Brian moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2009 to pursuit his continued dreams of writing songs and becoming a country music artist. In search of a record deal and publishing deal, Brian worked on a sod farm and laid hardwood floors all while writing songs and playing shows. In 2011, his hard work and determination paid off and he signed his first publishing deal. Since then, Callihan has had songs recorded by artists' Dylan Scott, Trent Tomilson and Halfway to Hazard. Presently, Callihan has a publishing deal with Steve Popovich and has a management deal with Mike & Joe Show Entertainment. Mike & Joe Show Entertainment has managed acts such as Billy Currington, Clay Walker, Tracy Bird and William Michael Morgan. Callihan is currently working on his EP with his producer Phil O'Donnell in the studio so stayed tuned for great things coming in the near future!
