35 South Band Country Band from Waco, TX

We are a six piece country band based out of Waco, Texas. From the classic country of George Jones to the Texas country of Randy Rogers we give you the best of it all with just enough rock to keep it rollin.35 South was originally formed by Shane and Charlie in 2006. Their first gig was a friends wedding and two months later they went on to win the country stampede battle of the bands at the Heart o Texas Fair and Rodeo earning the right to play on the Budweiser main event stage opening for Chris Cagle and put on such a great show, were actually hired by the venue as a main act for the next years fair. Later that same year they went on to win the Music Association of Central Texas Fan Favorite of the year and Country band of the year, and lead vocalist Shane Christian took home the award for male vocalist of the year. In 2010 the band decided to take a break from the music scene to raise their kiddos and now they are back with a vengeance with a brand new show, burning up the dancefloors and packing venues and events all over Texas. They have shared the stage with the likes of Travis Tritt, The Bellamy Brothers, Rick Trevino, Trent Tomlinson, Johnny Rodriquez, Chris Cagle, Wade Bowen, Deryl Dodd, Kyle Park, Jake Kellen, and Jody Booth. They have a philosophy in 35 South, if you cant dance to it, we don't play it, and that formula has earned them numerous awards radio play and a following of fans who know each time 35 South takes the stage they will dance and have a blast all night long, if they can keep their eyes off the stage cause ya never know what antics The guys are gonna pull off next.
