Melissa is always the consummate professional.” -Public Dreams Melissa Aston, aka Cosmo (clown), provides multiple circus entertainment services in clown, juggling, and stilt walking adventures. Kazoomco provides stages shows and roving entertainment, and is perfect for cabarets, festivals, corporate entertainment, and regional events. Her style is quirky, adventurous, and friendly, with years of experience interacting with audience members and crowds at large and small events. Cosmo is at your service! Melissa is a professional clown adventurer, having performed for over 15 years all over the continent. Her background is circus and theatre clowning, having trained at the Clown Conservatory in San Francisco, CA. This travelling clown went on to perform with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, riding the rails across the U.S. on a circus train. Melissa currently is Head Clown of Kazoomco Productions, and has performed at festivals and events across the continent, including Vancouver International Children's Festival, and the Richmond Children's Art Festival. She has the great honour of working at the Therapeutic Clown program at the BC Children's Hospital as the hospital's only Dis-Orderly. Since 2012, she has worked with program director Sand Northrup, aka Fizzie the Frizzie–O–Therapist, developing relationships with children and their families through humour and play.
