Musicology Classical Duo from Ashuelot, NH

Musicology provides elegant music for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions as well as for Parties and Corporate Gatherings of all sizes. Our basic instrumentation includes violin and acoustic guitar as well as classical guitar. Depending on your budget we can also include flute and cello for an even richer sound for your wedding ceremony music. We specialize in 30's jazz classics done on violin, acoustic guitar and bass as well as classical favorites used in wedding ceremonies. For receptions we can do a mix of jazz, celtic style waltzes with improvisations, blues, latin, ragtime, pop and traditional and original folk music. We also both sing as you can see from our sound samples and we can provide emcee services along with sound equipment if needed. If you have a particular type of music you want emphasized at your event we will work with you to satisfy your preferences. For Bar and Bat Mitzvah's and Jewish weddings we can perform a selection of wedding and other favorites in English or even Hebrew. We are not a dance band per se but people often seem inspired to dance when we play. We can even teach and call a selection of International folk dances. We want to enable you and your guests to have an enjoyable time and a very succesful event and will work closely with you to make that happen.
