For outdoor events, make sure to inquire of any musician what amplification they provide. Outdoors, acoustic instruments disappear with even a slight breeze. I carry a state of the art battery powered system. For weddings, wireless lapel microphones are available for the officiant and readers at no extra charge, making the service audible to guests.
