M. Alan Pearce, of Pearce Music Studio, is an award-winning, classically trained violinist and instructor living and performing in Western North Carolina. He provides solo, duet, trio, and quartet services for weddings, holiday parties, and other special events. His versatility of music styles ranges from classical, to pop and contemporary, to improvisation and fiddle, to sub-genres, including Klezmer. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally.
M. Alan Pearce has performed with orchestras across the United States, including the Aspen Festival Orchestra, Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, Asheville Symphony Orchestra, Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, and Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra. His resume includes playing for hundreds of weddings, private events, holiday parties, and special performances, including soloing at The National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. and in London, UK. His WNC performances include such venues as: The Biltmore Estate, Grandfather Mountain Golf and Country Club, The Crest Center &Pavilion, Round Knob Lodge, Cullasaja Club, and The Inn at Crestwood. He also works as a music consultant—most recently at The Biltmore Estate.
M. Alan Pearce graduated with his Masters of Music from the University of Alabama, under the tutelage of Jubal Fulks and Jenny Gregoire, and received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he studied under Kevin Lawrence.
