Ensembles For All Occasions Classical Trio from Montpelier, VT

Professional, personal, open-minded assistance and performance to create the ambiance you most desire for your wedding or special event. We offer ensembles ranging from classical quartet of flute with violin, viola and cello, to a Celtic trio of flute with viola and harp, to a trio of vocals with flute and keyboard with offerings ranging from pop and Broadway to Classical. For intimate occasions, we also offer duos of flute with harp or with any stringed instrument, flute with oboe, or solo flute. Other combinations which include flute are possible - please ask! Lisa Carlson, flutist, has guided many couples through the music planning experience for their wedding, and is the staff wedding music blogger for Vermont Bride Magazine. Lisa's daughters Clara and Mariah join for many of our ensemble offerings in our family trio "Turidae" - of either classical flute, violin, and viola (often with the addition of cellist and composer Michael Close) OR our Celtic trio of flute with viola and harp, which recorded our first CD, "Turidae: Back Home" in 2016. Other well known Vermont musicians regularly include Raymond Malone, violinist and violist; Mary Fran Stafford, harpist; Alison Cerutti, pianist; Linda Radtke, alto vocals (also radio announcer for Vermont Public Radio); and Sandra Cathey, oboe. Lisa Carlson has performed throughout Vermont for weddings, concerts, festivals, and much more, since 1985. She maintains a private studio in Montpelier, Vermont.
