New Gigmasters Member. "Agitato Strings" is a professional string ensemble of passionate musicians performing in Tri-State area. "Agitato Strings" has the talent, experience, and a hallmark level of dedication that has gained us a highly respected reputation. We are a reliable and creative team of Russian virtuosos, who have been trained at the best music schools in Odessa, Minsk, Moscow and New York City and have many years of experience performing internationally as chamber musicians and soloists. We specialize in string duo/trio/quartet ensembles. Our musicians perform solo, chamber and orchestral recitals at WMP, Carnegie Hall, and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in NYC and have toured internationally in Eastern and Western Europe. Since our formation in 2005, we have performed for many wedding ceremonies, receptions, and corporate functions at many of NY's and NJ's most glamorous venues such as Plaza and Ritz Hotel, Metropolitan Club in NYC, Abigail Kirsch in Tarrytown NY, The Chanticler in Short Hills NJ. We offer the highest standard of instrumental music whilst remaining approachable and friendly. For a Wedding ceremony we typically play classical standards for the prelude, ceremony, and postlude but can play "Your Song" or can play an arrangement of any song you desire. We have an extended list of the most requested music compositions for a wedding ceremony and a cocktail reception. Evening party will sparkle with the added sounds of Latin tangos, light jazz, pop and contemporary pieces. We provide violin strolling upon a special agreement. "Agitato Strings" is not sub-contracted from an agency. Our clients deal with performers directly. We do our best from start to finish to exceed our client's expectations.
