Jon Mendle Classical Guitarist from San Francisco, CA

Jon Mendle has toured with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, and made his Carnegie Hall debut while still a student at the age of 19. His first album, entitled "L'Infidele," was released in January, 2011 on In A Circle Records to critical acclaim. He has performed throughout the United States, as well as in Canada and Germany. A personal note: I play a unique instrument, the 11-string Archguitar, which can add a beautiful and elegant touch to any event. I will work closely with you to choose music that fits the character of your event, and I can even arrange songs of your choosing to create the perfect accompaniment. I can also play Spanish guitar music and ukulele. I completed my Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Classical Guitar Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with teachers who included Latin Grammy winner Sergio Assad. I love sharing music with people and look forward to working together!
