Classical Harp Duo Classical Duo from New Orleans, LA

I am a professional harpist for over 30 years. I have been playing at different events such as weeding ceremonies and weddings receptions. I have also played for formal and informal dinner events, fund raisers and some funerals. In the past few years I have performed chamber music with oboe, viola, violin, cello and bass. Now I have added a harp ensemble to my experiences. At your event you will be surrounded by calming beautiful sounds from all different instruments. The harp is very soothing. Most couples choose the harp duet for the ceremony. In terms of music selections, I have used a variety of genres such as jazz improvisations, classical pieces, musicals excerpts and opera arias. I enjoyed playing with different musicians and have done it all over the states and Latin America. I have tour with several orchestras in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. My specialization now is mostly weddings. If you are interested, we can set up a time where you can hear the harp duet and choose your own music for your particular event. In my experiences, some couples choose specific music and, if it is possible to play it in the harp I will arrange parts for the duet. I have played at the Ritz Carlton hotel, in New Orleans and I was a regular "tea time" player at Pavilion hotel in New Orleans, White Oak Plantation, Mount Hope plantation, Notaway plantation, Hemmingbough, Afton Gardens, Our Lady of mercy church in Baton Rouge, In Our lady of the lake children's hospital and several nursing homes in the Baton Rouge area. I have played in several Christmas celebrations at Jefferson Baptist church for the twin living Christmas events. I have also played for earth day and solstice celebration at the Unitarian church. Many of my clients have chosen to have harp music for the rehearsal dinners as well at a local restaurant as well as at their home gardens. I play indoors and outdoors.
