Lily Maase, jazz and classical guitarist Classical Guitarist from Albuquerque, NM

Lily Maase is a rock, country, jazz and classical guitarist raised in New Mexico, educated at the University of North Texas, and just returned to Albuquerque after 12 years of living and working in New York. She is contributing writer for Premier Guitar Magazine and has contributed to Guitar World and Guitar World's Acoustic Nation, who recently lauded her as a "master guitar teacher." She is the founder and owner of GuitarWorks International, a workshop-oriented center for guitar and bass guitar education located in midtown Manhattan and downtown Albuquerque. She has been performing as a solo jazz and classical guitarist since the age of sixteen and has traveled the world both as a performer and as a top-call guitarist for private and corporate events. Customized cocktail hour repertoire, processional and recessional arrangements of classic or popular melodies, and imaginative arrangements are well within her means. Lily has 6 years experience as a top 40, throwback and 90s DJ in Manhattan and is also available to spin your reception after the ceremony! When not performing privately, Lily is the lead guitarist, musical director and bandleader with the Rocket Queens all-female tribute to Guns N Roses and the Suite Unraveling (Tzadik). Her playing has been featured on Guitar World's Acoustic Nation, and Elle Magazine.
