Kevin and the band were fantastic: they went along with all my requests and even learnt a few extra tunes that I love! Our guests were dancing from the first number to the last! I could not recommend the Special Guests more highly. Perfect!

Kevin and his band were a bride/grooms dream to work with. We planned with them from across the country (we live in PA- got married in CA). He returned phone calls & emails within they day they were sent and never missed a beat! They went out of their way to be accomadating and had the show under control at all times. They are super talented and had every guest ready tp party!!!

This is a great band. We hired them for our wedding reception to play Rock/Blues/Funk and keep our guests dancing. They were great. Kevin was very responsive to my emails about planning. They had great setlists and even let our cousins sit it with them for one song. We asked them to play Broken Arrow and they learned it for the wedding. They were a very fun, professional and easy to work with band. I would recommend them to anyone.

Special Guests far exceeded my expectations. The communication prior to the event was excellent. They arrived at my event early and were ready to roll at agreed upon time. And most importantly, all my party guests loved them. Special guests rocked the house and everyone danced all the sets. It was so much fun and I thank them for making my party so successful. All band members were professional, pleasant and genuinely enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend them and hire them again!!

The Special Guests were great! From the first contact with them I was very satisfied with their communication and professionalism and willingness to make anything work for what I was requesting. I loved how they were just as excited to perform at the surprise party as I was to be throwing it. We all had fun and I would highly recommend them for any type of party. Great voices, great sound, great band! Thank you so much.

The band was proactive in planning, were friendly, and accomodating. For our needs we required that mebers of the audience play with them - in most cases using the band's equipment. Everything went as planned and everything promised was delivered. Good talent, good song list, good people. Highly recommend for this sort of gig.

They were great to deal with- they origionally said that they would have another singer (his wife) their child got sick and could't attend but I was not informed of this until they arrived. Other than that they were excellent.

The SG are experienced and talented musicians who play for the pure love of music. Kevin was prompt, courteous, and accommodating via email in all of the pre-event communications. The group was clear about music they did well (suggested we use playlists during breaks for stuff that was not their forte.) They learned two new songs we wanted for first dance and father-daughter dance and they nailed them. My only criticism is that since they are fairly laid back, there was a little confusion at the last minute on the number of band members (and needed accommodations) as well as payment method. They more than met our expectations in performance quality.

We loved playing for this terrific family and their friends and we enjoyed their hospitality even though we were quite prepared to pay for our own lodging when the final details were different than what was originally offered. We did play with the correct number of musicians as agreed and it's true that we gladly went far above and beyond to make sure their wishes were met.
If anyone else is looking for a band where the only complaint is that they play excellent music and are too laid back and accommodating, give us a call...

Kevin was my contact and he was great! He accommodated all my crazy requests and was very quick to respond anytime I had a question or concern prior to the event. The band's music was great for background music. We were planning on dancing, but the music wasn't quite right for that. Next time I would specify this in advance. However, if you are looking for a cool band as background 80's type music, pick these guys!

In all fairness we were the victims of a running dispute between the property owner and her neighbors that our host was unaware of prior to the event. As an example the Sheriff arrived to complain before we even started playing! Upon his departure we were instructed by the property owner to play at a near acoustic level the rest of the evening which understandably affected the dynamics of the set list that our host had approved before the event. We were told to start the dancing portion late and the dance floor was full until the charter bus left. We received a wonderful Thank You card and a generous gratuity even with the many issues out of our control. Thank You :)
