TESTIMONIALS
We had Nashville Singers provide entertainment for our first annual Senior Adult Luncheon at the First Baptist Church. We have nothing but superlatives to share about this group. Their song selection was fabulous. A few folks were brought to tears. They were good tears of touched hearts and memories revisited. Several in the audience were heard singing along and everyone was involved with the concert. We enjoyed them tremendously. Thank you Nashville Singers for making our first luncheon so very special. - Lynne Wells, Chairman, Senior Adult Luncheon, First Baptist Church, Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville Singers provided entertainment for about 150 senior adults at our Annual Senior Adult Christmas Spectacular. Their performance was excellent! Without question, Nashville Singers greatly exceeded our expectations! The folks in attendance at LifePoint Church are still talking about what a great job they did. I can't wait for an opportunity to have them back. Thanks again, and keep up the good work and excellent harmonies. - Dr. Lenny Farmer, Minister to Senior Adults, LifePoint Church, Smyrna, Tennessee
BOOKING OPTIONS
Theme Packages: Given sufficient time, budget, and information about your event, a theme package can be developed.
Christmas Events: The chorus has a large repertoire of Christmas songs and carols. Please contact us as early as possible about Christmas holiday performances, because demand for performances is great at this time of year.
Help us to Help You: Speak with our Performance Coordinator to discuss your specific needs. The earlier you can do this, the more likely we are to be able to meet them. He will want to know:
The Event: What is the date and time of the event? Does the event have a particular theme?
Venue: What/where is the venue for this performance? Venue details, size and layout of room, availability of "warm up" area for the singers to assemble beforehand, and whether there is a tiered standing area or whether we need to provide our own risers. What are available parking options and is there any cost involved?
Musical Program: What is the desired length of our musical program? We have a very wholesome repertoire, but are there any types of songs we need to avoid?
Technical: What type of sound system, microphones, speakers or lighting will be provided? Is the contractor expecting us to provide sound and lighting? Will the contractor be providing someone to operate the sound system or lighting or are we expected to provide these operators?
Time Commitment: From the time we arrive for a sound check until our performance, how much time will be required of the singers at the performance venue?
Attendees: What is the anticipated audience (number of attendees) for this event? To help create a suitable musical program, what are the expected demographics of the audience? Will there be a photo-op with any special VIP, dignitary or celebrity?
Contractor: Is the contractor a non-profit or for-profit organization?
Fees: Performance fees will vary according to a number of factors, including the distance from Nashville, duration of musical program, total time required at the venue, custom programming requests, size of audience, and other variables. These items can be discussed with the Performance Coordinator.
Expenses: For a Nashville-area performance, the combined costs incurred by the singers for costume cleaning and transportation/fuel, are approximately $150 for a single performance. Extras such as rental fees for securing/transporting risers, sound and lighting gear will be added on a cost recover basis. Each year the chorus commits to a number of low cost, no cost or payment by donation performances as a community service. If you are a non profit organization, charity or similar entity, please contact the Performance Coordinator to discuss this.
