Rick Roessler performs as Freddy Shoehorn with his guitar and ukulele singing traditional children's songs as well as his own list of originals from his 2011 release of "Sockhead Smith and Freddy Shoehorn - Sock Drawer Sing-Along." As a credentialed primary-grade teacher and professional touring musician, Rick understands the details of organizing and keeping a young audience captivated and actively participating. From his shows, the children participate in movement and singing and always end up having a fun knee slap'n time! Volunteers may find themselves on stage assisting Freddy, participating in songs and contributing to an enjoyable interactive event. Rick has composed multiple theme songs for television and has performed in popular venues (with various bands), such as CBGBs in NYC, Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego, The Mint in Los Angeles along with multiple venues and schools in europe.
