Laura Hamlin: Author, Storyteller & Singer Children's Music Singer from Mesa, AZ

Hi There! My name is Laura. I am a published children's author and mother, born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I have been a professional musician, performing during weddings and many other types of events for almost 7 years now. I absolutely LOVE children and I love attending events catering to little ones. My book is called 'Did You Ever See A Moonbeam?' and it is a beautifully illustrated storybook with a positive message about the joys of playing and exploring outdoors. For children's parties, family reunions, open houses, festivals, school events, and many more types of gatherings, I provide 15-45 (more if requested) minutes of wholesome family entertainment by playing my guitar and singing songs most everybody knows and can sing along with, (Puff the Magic Dragon, Skip to My Lou, If You're Happy and You Know It, etc). I sprinkle in a few storybooks (including my own) and also provide a box filled with shakers, jinglers and lots of other fun musical toys for everyone to play along. It's so much fun and something the children will always remember! Generally the age range is from about 2-8, although I've seen many much older siblings and daddies join in and have a great time too! ALSO: bonus of inviting a Published Author to your event! I will bring each child a copy of my storybook for $7 each and am happy to customize it with an personalized autograph for each child. (If more than 10 books are purchased, I'll throw in 3 for free, so you only pay for 7! They are great to give away as gifts too!) I am professional and reliable and I usually prefer to arrive about an hour early to set up and be ready to go for showtime!
