The Kelly Girls are a lively and talented four piece all female band. We play traditional and contemporary Celtic tunes, ballads, folk and pub songs. Enjoy our rousing renditions of songs and tunes rooted in Irish, Scottish, American and Canadian musical traditions. We play fiddle, banjo, bodhran, tin-whistle, flute, ukulele,  bouzouki, guitar and mandolin. All the girls have been performing in New England, Canada and Ireland for many years for all kinds of parties, weddings, festivals, and special occasions and we love to take our music on the road! We'll bring the party to you. Kick up your heels, dance, clap and sing-along with The Kelly Girls!

My name is "Aisling" which is gaelic and is pronounced "Ashling". I have created  myMUSICVisions to represent the musicians and bands I perform with and to promote celtic music and musicians I enjoy. I love to organize, coordinate and promote musical entertainment for all kinds of special events , including concerts,  parties, festivals, workshops,  ceilis, barn dances and weddings.
I was born in Dublin, Ireland and visit " home " several times a year. I enjoy organizing and coordinating musical events as much as I enjoy playing music. As a couple in our 60's we did not want the typical wedding DJ, so we decided to go with live Irish folk music, a mutual love. The Kelly Girls was not the first band we auditioned, but they were musically superior, they had a much more extensive song list, and their banter between songs was entertaining.  And they do more than just Irish songs.  We made a great choice.  Aisling made sure that all our special requests were fulfilled, and we ended up with great music for our perfect day. Aisling

I don't know where or how to begin to thank you and the entire Traditional Brew (and friends) band for enriching my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration with such beautiful traditional music yesterday.   It was not the venue, food or even the flow of beverages that made my parent's celebration complete, it was, without a doubt, the music provided by Traditional Brew and friends—the sound was just so, so beautiful and wonderfully authentic.   I think we all felt like we had traveled back to Connemara for the afternoon to celebrate.     I literally lost track of the number of guests who approached me with compliments about the band.    So, thanks again for making my parent's special day so incredibly enjoyable, distinctive and memorable—I know they, Susan and I will never forget it.     Please extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire group—such a wonderful group of friends!
I'd like to purchase a CD, so please take one in whenever you get the chance.

Dear Aisling

It can be hard to find the "right" band, especially when you don't often
book bands for a personal event. We were searching for an authentic Irish
band and found Aisling's Music via a web search. It's tricky to know how good
the band is, and how the band will fit in with all the other festivities
going on. Will the band be good, will they blend in without taking over the
event, do they have a broad variety of songs -- these are the questions that
are hard to judge from the web. I can tell you that Aisling and her band
succeeded on all these fronts, as well as providing upbeat, humorous emcee
duty in between songs. I was especially impressed with the variety of
instruments -- mandolin, banjo, fiddle, Irish drum, tin pipe, accordion, and
of course guitars. We got a ton of positive feedback from the guests, I
would highly recommend Aisling and her companions for your next event that
requires great, authentic Irish music.

First off they are top rate kind people. From that you add talented musicians, lively,entertaining  and engaging. Only received positive comments from the crowd. “We had a blast” “Irish music is my favorite and they are wonderful”. They even stayed to mingle, eat and have a beer with the crowd. Highly recommend

The Kelly Girls recently performed a 1 hour celtic concert at the Merrimac Public Library. We had a huge audience of all ages and everyone had a great time. All of the members of the band were fully engaged with the audience and I would definitely hire them again!

The Kelly Girls did a great performance at our wedding celebration.  Their celtic music moved us and got us all moving. They had us all up and dancing - young and old. They were very friendly, flexible and professional - fitting in around our timings as the toasts overran.  Thank you, Kelly Girls for helping our big day be such a success.
