Sally Morris - the Magical Harp Harpist from Grand Forks, ND

I play a beautiful Lyon & Healy lever harp. It is very Celtic in appearance, with golden Book-of-Kells designs on the soundboard. My harp has a rich and mellow voice. The range and volume are matched by the versatility of this instrument. I enjoy playing every kind of music, from popular ballads to classical pieces, favorite themes from moviea,Broadway show tunes, sacred music, renaissance tunes and traditional Irish, Scottish and Welsh music. I have played at an Italian restaurant on a regular basis for 8 years, so I include Italian and French cafe music as well. I have been featured 3 years at the Fargo Moorhead Celtic Festival, and I play for weddings, receptions, holidays, grand openings, holiday open houses, art shows and special events of all kinds. I will gladly play for outdoor events so long as I have level ground and protection from the elements and shade for my harp! The Celtic harp sounds wonderful out under the trees or in a garden! If you have limited space the harp is perfect - maximum impact in a small and distinctive package! If your budget is limited, the harp provides a full range and harmonic completeness - it needs no accompaniment. I also provide my own mic and amp, so if this is needed I would need access to an electrical outlet. I dress in formal concert attire for weddings unless a special request is made. I occasionally dress in Renaissance costume and have done so to present the harp to school children in programs. My music stand is a classic of polished brass. The harp is known for its romantic and distinguished history, its vast repertoire and its classic image, suitable for large, formal occasions as well as intimate dinners or receptions.
