The Devil's Drink Celtic Band from Toronto, ON

The Devil's Drink is a mix of talented musicians, who share a love of all things celtic. In their foot stomping, baby waving, beer drinking set, you'll find classics from Ireland, Scotland, East Coast Canadian, mixed with a selection of contemporary crowd favourites. Being a four piece powerhouse, we can entertain groups of 10 to infinity, with lots of flexibility of space, energy level, and varying degrees of tasteless jokes. The Drink puts a focus on four part harmonies making even the simplest songs sound full and powerful. We consider it a great strength not to have a lead vocalist, the entire band shares that honour giving our audiences a variety of sounds that you'll never get tired of. We also do not use a drum kit, relying on the traditional bodhran drum for percussion. This allows us to play "loudly" but not intrusively in small spaces. Our typical "pub set" is very fast paced inspiring dancing and singing along, however we love the opportunity to slow things down with powerful ballads when in demand. We are also always looking for the chance to learn new material so if you have specific requests we would be happy to learn it for you.
