Laura Kristoff Cellist from Knoxville, TN

With a career of nearly 25 years, Laura Kristoff got her Bachelor of Cello at Universidade de São Paulo - USP, a specialization in Cello Pedagogy at Indiana University, and a Masters in Music with specialization in Cello Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Florida. She participated in several orchestras in Brazil and USA, working as principal cello and soloist for some of them. Laura also held concerts and recordings with popular Music and did some theater and cinema performances as well. In 2010 she premiered a Cello Concerto written for her by Brazilian composer E. Villani-Côrtes at the University of Florida with the UF Chamber Orchestra. Nowadays Laura performs as a cellist for The Bryan Symphony Orchestra and Duo Irmãos de Alma. She is also the director of the Strings program at The Studio in Sparta, TN.
