Evolution Cafe & Catering is a small, owner-operated catering company new to the Triangle. Evolution's owner, Monica Basantes has been working as a part-time cook and caterer for a number of years while working full time at a large investment firm in RTP. After attending culinary school, Monica discovered a passion for providing food and beverage services that are not only well executed and flavorful, but can meet the dietary needs of even the most customized request. Monica has experience working in the gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free space as well as creating menus that meet the requirements of specialized programs like The Whole 30, Paleo and Auto-Immune protocols. Evolution provides services in the value catering space (corporate events with a headcount of 20 and under), individual meal preparation/private chef services (currently serving families and individuals in the Triangle area) and small to medium traditional events (such as birthdays, showers, holiday parties and weddings).
