Traditional and Digital Caricatures: People say while I'm drawing them, "You smile the whole time!" And I reply, " I love what I do! I get paid to draw funny pictures of people for a living!" I have been a professional caricaturist most of my life, starting at Six Flags Over TX in 1990 when I was fifteen, then from '93-'95 Six Flags Great America near Chicago while I was attending Art school at SAIC, then I worked full time in Las Vegas Casinos for 5 years. I've been drawing in Austin since I moved there in 2001, and spent the summer drawing in Boston in 2013. My work is funny, fast, and accurate. I use bold lines and blended colors to create a personal souvenir that captures the moment! Face and Body Painting, Airbrush Tattoos, Glitter Tattoos, and Henna Tattoos: I have extended my skills with a paintbrush to create amazing Face Painting! I use professional supplies to protect the skin from possible irritation. I paint quick and clean, and I love glitter! I began Airbrush Body Painting in 2006 when a costume store in Austin asked if I did Airbrush Body Painting and I said yes and took the gig! I asked a friend how to do it and what professionals used to work with and I practiced until the gig and blew them away! I've been airbrushing since 1991 when I did Airbrush Tee-Shirts at Six Flags and I've been airbrushing everything ever since. But since I can't always plug in a compressor, I learned to paint faces and bodies with brush and sponge using the techniques I learned from the many workshops and classes I've taken from some of the best Face Painters in the world.
