Having been a Disney artist for years I had the best of the best trainers in the business. Thankful to be able to do what I love, I have found that caricaturing IS one of the highest forms of flattery when it is done with excellence and professionalism as well to entertain the subject and their peers. The more personal the drawing can be made, the more treasured by the subject it becomes. For that reason I always try to put a body in action into the picture which would relate to the subject's hobbies, sports or vocation. Inserting a twist or gag at the end of the drawing tends to bring the laughter from the subject and crowd watching which helps perpetuate the people wanting to be next in line. A very good book has said that "a merry heart is like good medicine" and this is where I get my motivation to bring humor and good artwork into the lives of many people who, after all the hustle in life, desperately need a good laugh. Attitude is everything and I, for one, feel that delivering a good drawing to people without the cheerful and encouraging attitude to go along with it, will only make the actions yield a much lesser result than if there is good, clean fun and a keen sense of humor to connect with those being drawn. I have worked for over 30 years to hone my talent so that speed and accuracy to achieve good and humorous likenesses is like a second nature. I feel that those who I work for deserve at least my best so all the qualities of a professional business is what I adhere to including punctuality, courtesy, fair pricing, hard work and the desire to make any event as tremendously successful as I have the opportunity to accomplish. I work in Black and white or color as the need arises. My clients have no worries when I arrive as I come equipped with everything needed( except possibly am electrical cord and chairs) to make my part of the event flow smoothly. I have had decades of experience being "on stage" and my people skills have been noted by many of my clients across many venues including corporations like Tupperware, Walt Disney World, the American and Florida Banking Associations, Mastercard and Visa, the Association of Occupational Therapists and Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals to name a few. I especially enjoy private parties, proms, birthday parties and wedding receptions too. What sets me aside from others in this field? I believe that you will see that the experience I have had in my earlier sales days ( I spent a few years as a time share sales executive earlier on) and the people skills I have employed as well as my passion for entertaining coupled with the God-given ability to draw with a sense of humor should encourage any one considering me for hire an excellent asset and compliment to their event.
