Ken was born on the island of Trinidad, the birthplace of the Steel Drum, and performed with Casablanca, Syncopators, Starlift and Phase2 before relocating to the coral islands of Bermuda. While playing with the Real Thing Steelband, He opened for names like Roberta Flack, Jose Feliciano, Angela Bofil, Earl Klugh, The Manhattans, Gerald Albright and Najee, Ken played professionally on the night club circuit in Bermuda for fifteen years.
