A highly motivated, experienced, US Air Force veteran, professional, and author with 30+ years of leading key elements of organizational change projects. Dr. Mouriño brings extensive experience in leadership development, organizational change, executive coaching, team development, diversity, and learning & development. His mission in life is to "Help leaders help themselves" so that they may enable their employees and in turn their organizations to success. He has spoken to numerous audiences over the years in conferences and development workshops on a variety of Human Capital topics. Over the last several years he has spoken to many on human capital trends. He is the author of The Perfect Human Capital Storm: Workplace Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century where he highlights the workplace trends that are taking place around the world and particularly in the U.S. with implications for organizations, its leadership, and Human Resources. These trends include the explosion of technology, the need for organizational change, the four generations in the workplace, the aging population, the changing demographics with the growth of the hispanic workforce, the gap and need for education in America, the leadership challenge and opportunity, along with an assessment for audience participants and organizations to take along with recommendations for organizations to address these trends. He has spoken at numerous conferences regarding these trends. In addition, he is a co-editor of a soon to be published book on one of the most recent and pragmatic books on Leadership and Diversity titled: Leading Diversity in the 21st Century, where he in partnership with other authors address diversity from a variety perspectives from both a scholarly angle with organizational and practitioner implications. He is also author of a fiction book Gringo-­Latino: Historias/Stories of Pursuing El Sueño Americano/American Dream, following the journey of those Latinos born in the US and those that came to the US pursuing their American Dream. He is also founder and President of his organization Human Capital Development (HCD): Helping Leaders Help Themselves. With HCD Dr. Mourino offers leadership and employee development, executive coaching, change management advise, and diversity insights. He has spoken at Hispanic Heritage Month events regarding the changing demographics with implications for organizations and its leadership. Last, he is also a believer in giving America's youth the motivation and inspiration to succeed in their future. He has provided his time and shared his personal story with high school students along with what is occurring in the world with implications for their futures.
