Outside of the corporate arena, Darren has been an emcee for programs at the Chicago Cultural Center, including a birthday celebration for the City of Chicago which featured Mayor Daley and violinist Johnny Frigo. He also emceed the Screen Actors Guild Award show at Planet Hollywood. His own live on-stage talk show, The Real Darren Stephens, was performed at the Ivanhoe Theatre in Chicago and had a fun 60's retro style, with a lot of music and audience interaction.
