Cantosur, Brazilian and Latin Jazz Latin Band from Hyattsville, MD

CantoSur offers Latin American music for a wide variety of settings, performed by top musicians from the Washington DC Metropolitan Area on vocals, guitar, keyboard, bass, percussion, drums, horns and other South American instruments. The size and formation of the group ranges from a soloist to a sextet, depending on the needs of the particular event (for example, soloist or duo for ceremonies, duo or trio for cocktail hour, and at least a quartet for dance music). Prices are determined by the size of the group, the duration of the event and the day and time. CantoSur provides the peace of mind that comes from working with professional musicians who are reliable, punctual and responsible. Some of the styles of music offered are: Brazilian jazz Latin jazz American Jazz Brazilian popular music Tango and Argentinean Folklore South American folk music - this may include Paraguayan harp, Peruvian cajón and several other regional instruments Other styles may be arranged by special request CantoSur provides vocal and/or instrumental music for: Private or public events - large and small Ceremonies Concerts (theaters, museums, galleries, outdoor venues, etc.) Festivals Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations CantoSur can also provide music to play during the band breaks.
