Brazilian Band for All is the prominent Brazilian music ensemble in the Washington DC region, and brings the best in Brazilian styles of Samba, Bossa Nova, Forró, Choro as well as instrumental music to its expanding fan base.
We play regularly in DC Area music venues. We also perform regularly for corporate, non-profit and private events, including annual gala events, weddings, anniversaries, Hispanic-related events, and birthday parties, and conferences.
Brazilian Band for All brings keen musicianship, great energy and a sense of fun to both Brazilian genres. We specialize in Choro, Forró, Samba, and Bossa Nova. Choro is a Brazilian acoustic jazz genre, that, like ragtime, features intricate melodies and counterpoint, a swinging rhythm, and rich harmony. It was the precursor Bossa Nova, Samba, and Forro, the most popular styles of Brazil. Forró and samba are more danceable and popular styles with vocals.
