We love the music, and that's what comes through! We've been together for five years, and play mainly Bossa Nova classics, but also quite a few more contemporary Brazilian songs, as well as a smattering of Forro and Choro. As you'll hear in our recordings, Christina sings in flawless Portuguese, Michaelle plays traditional Brazilian percussion, and Rob plays the nylon-string guitar. In other words, we're NOT a jazz band that "does" Bossa Nova. These songs are deep and soulful as well as beautiful, and we approach them with respect as well as joy. We pride ourselves on being punctual and professional. Our job is to accomodate your needs and make your guests happy. We're happy to work with you on requests, and we can break into a trio, duo, or solo (guitar) for parts of gigs. Most important, we really like each other. It makes a huge difference.
