Stonegate Brass Brass Band from Streamwood, IL

The Stonegate Brass is one of Chicago's most brilliant brass quintets. Formed in 2004 by Paul Semanic, the quintet has quickly grown into a brass ensemble of great depth and character. The quintet is recognized for its rousing interpretations of the classics of brass repertoire and also seeks to bring lesser-known works to its audience. The experienced ensemble members represent the finest in Chicago's brass community. The players pride themselves on their chamber music, as well as orchestral, skills and have performed with such fine orchestras as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Lyric Opera and Music of the Baroque. Other symphony orchestras that the quintet members have performed with are the Elgin, Rockford, Lake Forest and Northwest Indiana Symphonies, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Chicago Sinfonietta. The Stonegate Brass is highly sought after in the Chicago area often performing in the magnificent worship spaces of St Peters in the Loop, Barrington United Methodist Church and Holy Family Catholic Church in Inverness.
