The Underground Prophets is a Show Band determined to present another side of Rock, Soul, Motown, Funk, and Blues, performing various covers and originals, as a 4 to 6 piece band.
The band is fronted by Lead, Back-up vocalist, and Bassist, 'ChucaTuc Slim', originally from Newport News, Virginia. 'ChucaTuc Slim' has been influenced and has performed various festivals with John Lee Hooker and Deacon Jones.
Keyboardist and vocalist, Michael McFee, orchestrates the band with Synthesized Hammond Organs, Pianos, Strings, Brass, Percussions, and various sound effects. McFee formerly toured with the Charlie Brechtel Band and opened for The Doobie Brothers, Greg Rolie of Santana, The Fabulous T-Birds, Joan Jett, Greg Kinh, and Guitar Shorty. McFee has worked with players from Moby Grape, King Fish, and Edgar Winter.
Guitarist, Glen Caballero, has added the 'Icing on the Cake' to the band with his 'Santana, Steppenwolf, and ZZ-Top' influences.
