Hitman Blues Band Cover Band from Brentwood, NY

From traditional blues to funk, rock, jazz, alternative (and their own original blues), the Hitman Blues Band will make your event exactly what you dream it can be! The group can go out in configurations ranging from a solo guitar to a duo (guitar & bass or guitar & keyboards) all the way to 12 or more pieces! The 'basic' four piece group consists of guitar, keyboards, drums and bass, with the guitarist (Hitman) handling vocals and the others doing backup (and occassionally lead) vocals. We are a blues band, but are also able to play a wide variety of music (over 400 tunes) ranging from rock, funk, blues, and reggae. We cover groups ranging from Elvis to Stones to Motown to Pearl Jam to Los Lonely Boys. We also play 'standards' (over 300 songs by Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, etc.), light jazz, and do some Top 40 (sorry - no heavy disco or Britney Spears type music.) Having said that, we gladly handle requests, and will keep things upbeat. We try to work it so the party flows the whole time, and work closely with the caterer to accomplish this. The band is usually dressed in black tux and tie, although we can dress informally if desired. While the band breaks for five minutes each hour, during that time one piece will continue to play so that there is continuous live music. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
